I'm Here for You - Try Stampin' on Tuesday #220

I seem to be in a flower mode lately.  Must be all the work I'm doing in the garden.  Just to be consistent, I coloured a flower for the challenge with Try Stampin' on Tuesday

  • The base card is Daffodil Delight layered with Whisper White cardstock to which have been added 1" strips of Sweet Taffy DSP.
  • At the ends of the strips I adhered a 1/2" circle of a left over strip of the background around the main image.  To that circle was added a vellum butterfly from Beautiful wings and a tiny white flower to which I  gold glitz dazzling diamond had been added.
  • The focal image was coloured with copic markers and cut out.  It was adhered to a piece of Whisper White cardstock to which the background had been stamped with Pear Pizzazz ink.  Some gold glitz dazzling diamond was also added to the center of the flower, and a larger vellum butterfly can be seen flitting on the left upper flower.
  • The sentiment, from the same stamp set, was stamped in Basic black ink and matted with Daffodil Delight cardstock.

The image panel was matted first with Pear Pizzazz cardstock and then Daffodil Delight cardstock.
It was adhered to the card front using dimensionals.

I love the way you've made that bloom positively glow! It's lovely and the little butterfly/flower combination you made is charming.
