Happy Father's Day - Pals Paper Arts #248

Hasn't the weather been gorgeous?  I am so looking forward to working in the garden.  My son raked all the leaves and dead growth, and now I'm waiting for some evidence of life emerging from the dirt.  I usually hold a plant sale every May, but the late Spring may derail my plans for then.

Today, for the challenge with Pals Paper Arts  sketch challenge, I used the stamp set "Moon Lake" on a background I had made with Blendabilities before they were "pulled" by Stampin' Up.  I still have some, so I am still using them.

I took the privilege of turning the sketch on its side.

The following blendabilities were used to create this background on photo paper:  Old Olive, Soft Suede (medium), Daffodil Delight.

The image was stamped using Black Memento ink, and coloured with blendabilities.  The art panel was matted with Soft Suede cardstock, followed by Old Olive.  All edges were sponged with Soft Suede ink. A piece of Baker's twine was wrapped around the left end, a small gold button attached and the twine knotted over the button.

The basic cardstock is Soft Suede layered with Very Vanilla and then Park Lane DSP.

The image panel was adhered  to the DSP using dimensionals.

The sentiment is from "Guy's Greetings" and was stamped with Basic Black ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock.  Again the edges were sponged with Soft Suede ink.  It was attached to the right corner using dimensionals.
