Easter Fancy Fold Card

This is a card fold I learned a while ago, and thought it would make a cute Easter card for class.

I started with a piece of Tangerine Tango cardstock cut at 11 by 4 1/4 scored st 4 1/4 & 8 1/2 on the long side.
After burnishing the folds, I took a 2 1/2" circle punch and inserted it on the fold by the small flap and centered it in the middle and punched.
A 4 by 4" piece of Polka dot parade DSP was added to the front of the card.
The embellishment of an Easter Egg and a chick on it was placed there to keep the card closed.  I made it by using a stamp-a-ma-jig and stamping 4 different colours of the egg stamp from "For Peeps" sake, then punching it with the large oval punch.  The chick was coloured with a Daffodil Delight and Tangerine Tango marker, stamped and cut out.  It was mounted on the egg using a dimensional.
The egg was attached with a dimensional only to the bottom.

Close up of the egg and chick.

To make the top I first punched a  2 3/8" scallop circle punch in tangerine tango cardstock.
Adhesive was applied to only the bottom half of this circle and attached to the card with the top folded down, matching scallops as close as possible.  A Daffodil Delight 1 3/4" circle (punched with 1 3/4" circle punch) as attached to this, followed by a Whisper White circle which had the words "Happy Easter" stamped on it.  The sentiment was split into 2 words in order for it to fit on a 1 1/4" circle.  The Whisper White circle was adhered with a dimensional.

A Daffodil delight ribbon was attached at the top.

This is the inside.
