One Stamp, Two Cards

This afternoon I worked with the stamp set "Your Perfect Day".  One card became a wedding card, and the other card became a birthday card.
Both cards have the same colour scheme:  Crumb Cake, Whisper white, and Pool Party.

Here's the wedding card:

The cake was stamped, using black stazon ink, near the bottom of an apothecary die cut.  Using an Aqua painter and Crumb Cake ink (from the lid), some crumb cake ink was applied to the left side of the cake to give it dimension.
A piece of twine was tied in a bow and added to the bottom of the cake.

The base card is Crumb Cake cardstock, layered with Whisper White, and then another layer of Crumb Cake which was embossed with the hearts embossing folder.

A doillie was adhered to the embossed Crumbcake layer and the apothecary die cut adhered to that.

At the top of the card is a piece of Vellum upon which the sentiment is stamped in black stazon ink.

Three flowers, punched with the flower punch from the Itty Bitty accents punch pack, in Pool Party decorate the card.

Now the Birthday Card:

The base is Crumb Cake, layered with Pool Party and then Whisper White.  Some small floral images are stamped in both bottom corners using Crumb Cake ink.
The cake is embossed with white embossing powder and then cut out and the doves on top of the cake removed.  It is added to the right side of the card.
The sentiment is stamped in Basic Black on a piece of Whisper White cardstock that had been snipped at both ends.  Before attaching that to the card, a small piece of Doillie was cut and glued just below where the sentiment would be attached.  Once glued, the sentiment was adhered using dimensionals.

Small flowers in Pool Party and Crumb cake were used to decorate the card.  In the centers of the flowers I put small pearls.

Here's a list of supplies used for both cards:
