Twitterpated - Technostamper #347

Twitterpated: One of the few words to have been invented by Hollywood, 'Twitterpated' has gained a contemporary slang sense. It has come to mean smitten or love-struck; romantically infatuated (Wordnik).
This is one of the few words that I did not know, or had forgotten, what it meant, so I had to look it up.
Certainly this is a good word to be used on Valentine's Day.

This card was made for the challenge with Techno Stamper here and since I have to get ready for a craft show on January 6, I am in Valentine mode.

Making Valentine Day cards is really a nice change from Christmas cards.  Not that I don't like making Christmas cards, but 5 months of it has Christmased me out (I don't even know if that is a word)

I started with a piece of Real Red cardstock cut 4 1/4 by 11 and folded it in half.  Then I added a 5 by 4 3/4 layer of Whisper White which had been embossed with the Happy Heart embossing folder.

Next I cut a 2 1/2 by 4 1/4" piece of  the tiny red hearts paper from the Stacked with Love DSP stack, rounded the edges with the Project life corner rounder punch,  and added it to the left side of the card.  A piece of 3 1/4 by 1 1/4 Basic Black cardstock was attached to the right side of the card about half way over the DSP.  The corners of this piece of was rounded.

The focal point was a shaker heart.  I first used the circles framelit to cut a 2 1/2"  circle using Red Glimmer paper.  The heart punch was used to punch a heart shaped hole off center in this circle.  The punched out heart will be used to embellish the inside of the card.
I used pieces of the shaker frames to form a heart shape and wrapped that around the wrong side of the punched heart.  The shaker pieces are a combination of Stacked with Love DSP and red glimmer paper (I used the punchiesfrom the Heart edge punch).  The 2 1/4" Whisper White circle backing was stamped with tiny black hearts using the "You Plus Me" set, and then attached to the back of the what is now the shaker element.  It was added to the card at approximately the middle.

The sentiment, also from "You Plus Me" was stamped in Basic Black, flagged at one end and attached to the card at the lower end of the heart.  A red glimmer heart was attached over the heart on the sentiment.

Three tiny hearts provide embellishments over the left corner, and two rhinestones of different sizes (coloured with the Cherry Cobbler blendabilities) embellished the lower right.

2. You Plus Me stamp set
3.  Lucky Hearts embossing folder
4. Confetti Heart Border punch

Omitted from the list above:  rhinestones which I coloured with Cherry Cobbler blendabilities, and Shaker frames.
