Paper Fringe Flower Card - Technostamper 302

I've been playing with the fringe scissors the last couple of days, so for the challenge with Technostamper I thought I'd put my learning to use and put a fringe flower on a card.

To make the fringe flower I used two pieces of cardstock, both 8 1/2" long, but the So Saffron strip was 1 1/2" wide and the Baked Brown Sugar 1 1/4" wide.
Before fringing, I applied sticky strip to one end applying the tape so that it extended half way over the end.
After fringing, I took a vintage button and rolled it in first the So Saffron layer, and then the Baked Brown Sugar layer.
Then I attached the flower to the card and opened the fringes so that the button showed in the middle.  I then placed a large rhinestone on top of the button.

Stamp: See Ya Later (SAB)
Ink: Baked Brown Sugar
Papers: Tangerine Tango, Baked Brown Sugar, So Saffron, Very Vanilla
Accessories: Modern Mosaic embossing folder, Decorative Dots embossing folder, Vintage button, large rhinestone, Decorative label punch

Awesome Maria! I have had those scissors for a few years and NEVER use them. I may have to try this out. Thanks so much for playing along with my sketch challenge this week!
