Hexagons and Triangle - The Friday Mashup #148

The Mashup Challenge this week is to use Hexagons and triangles on a project here
Here is my card:

The base card is Early Espresso, layered with Very Vanilla stamped with the Hardwood background stamp.  That is layered with Crumb Cake die cut using the Hexagon Hive Thinlet die.
The flowers are from the Petite Petals stamp set, stamped in different colours and punched out using the coordinating Petite Petals punch.  Two leaflets were die cut using the sizzlet leaflet die and the flowers were mounted on that - some directly on it and some using dimensionals.
The sentiment is from the You're Lovely (SAB) stamp set, punched with the small oval punch and layered with a triangular Petite Penants builder punch.

Stamps: Petite Petals, Hardwood, You're Lovely (SAB)
Inks: Early Espresso, Crisp Cantalope, Pool Party, Crushed Curry, Wonder Wisteria, Raspberry Ripple, Primrose Petals
Papers: Early Espresso, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Old Olive
Accessories: Hexagon Hive thinlet, Petite Petals punch, Petite Pennant Builder punch, Small oval punch, Leaflet sizzix die, dimensionals

Adorable card, and a cute way to sneak in the triangle shape with the sentiment. Thanks for joining the Friday Mashup this week.

This is the most beautiful card I've seen yet using the Hexagon Hive Thinlit! You have made a scene that takes me directly outdoors with a lattice and flowers in front of a privacy fence. Thank you for sharing. Nancy B

Great card Maria. I really like the way you layered the hexagons over the background paper. I also love the little flowers. They go perfect with this. Thanks for playing with us at The Friday Mashup.
