But my garden is thriving! I haven't seen any blue birds yet, but lots of robins and cardinals.
Today's card is for the sketch challenge with Create with Connie and Mary #255 here
The base card is Old Olive card stock, layered with Daffodil Delight card stock. A piece of Gingham Garden DSP is attached to the right side of the card.
The image of the bird is stamped with Black Stazon on a Whisper White banner. It is coloured with ink pads and an Aqua painter. The banner is attached to the upper left side.
The sentiment was inked with a SU black marker and stamped onto Whisper White card stock, and then punched out with the 1 3/4 by 7/8" oval punch. It was layered with a scalloped oval in Primrose Petals punched with the Scalloped Oval Punch. This was attached to the card using dimensionals.
Here's a list of the supplies/materials used:
Stamp: Simply Sketched
Inks: Black Stazon, Black SU marker
Bird: Pool Party, Island Indigo, Blushing Bride, Soft Suede, Old Olive for the grass
Papers: Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, Gingham Garden DSP, Primrose Petals
Accessories: 1 3/4 by 7/8" oval punch, Scallop Oval Punch, Aqua Painter, dimensionals.
