By the Tide Happy Birthday - Sketch Frenzy Friday

I don't know how I ended up making a masculine card for the Sketch Frenzy Friday design team this week.  After all, the sample sketch has a flower on it!  But when I saw the sketch, I saw a fish!  No, I don't think I'm touched in the head ---- yet!
As you guessed, it's Friday, and time for Sketch Frenzy Friday.  Today's sketch is by Jennifer Weide.

03/15/13 Jennifer
I turned the sketch on its side to make my card.
I started out by sponging a piece of Whisper White card stock first around the outside edges with Pacific Point, then Marina Mist, and on the inmost side Baja Breeze.  The images of the Sea Horse and the Sea Weed were stamped along the bottom using Midnight Muse ink.
The fish image was stamped on a separate piece of paper, cut out, and attached to the card at the lower right side.
Instead of a ribbon, I die cut a bescalloped strip using the Tasteful trim die, and substituted the knot with a silver pop top cap that I flattened using the Big Shot.  The sentiment was stamped, punched out with a 1" circle punch and placed in the Pop top.
Here's a list of the supplies:

Stamps:  By the Tide, Petite Paire
Inks: Pacific Point, Marina Mist, Baja Breeze, Midnight Muse
Papers: Midnight Muse, Whisper White
Accessories: Tasteful Trim die, Silver Pop Top cap, 1" circle punch, dimensionals

What a great use of the sketch this week. You are very cleaver my friend. The under the water scene is amazing! Very colorful and detailed.

Great card Maria. The sponging has added a real "sea" feel to the card. I think it is a great take on the sketch.
