Best of Flowers Birthday - Red Hot Sketch Challenge #79

The day started out overcast with some snow flurries, but now the sun is shining and I am again hopeful spring is around the corner.  I can hardly wait to get out into my garden and see my flowers start to bloom. This card, done for the Red Hot Sketch Challenge here features one of my favourite flower stamps, the hydrangea.  I was so sad when it was retired!  But it's back, in a smaller version, with the 25 year anniversary stamp set "Best of Flowers".

The image was coloured with SU markers and an Aqua painter.

Stamps: Best of Flowers, Curly Cute
Inks: Black Stazon, SU markers (Pink Pirouette, Pretty in Pink, Melon Mambo, Old Olive, Always Artichoke), Primrose Pink
Papers: Primrose Pink, Whisper White, Print Poestry DSP stack
Accessories: 2 1/2" circle punch, Scallop circle die #2, Mat pack & Paper piercer, Apothecary Accent framelits, Large rhinestones, Aqua painter, dimensionals.

Beautiful card! Love how you colored the flower. I just ordered this set the other day and can't wait to play with it!

Love this! I think I'm going to have to purchase this set. I like the smaller images in this set. Great card and thanks for playing along with the Red Hot Stampers sketch challenges.
