Five Point Star Christmas Ornament

I watched the video that Frenchiestamps made here using a square of designer paper to make a 5 point Star Christmas Ornament - and was inspired to make several.  They were very easy to make and have a lot of WOW factor.
Here are 2 of the ones that I made:

Technique: 
I started with a  6 by 6" square of designer paper, and folded and cut it according to the directions in the video. She does show you how to make larger ornaments.
I was surprised that it turned out as I am not good at Origami folding.
For the center of the ornament - on one I die cut a silver glimmer snowflake using the Snow Flurries die, than mounted a Very Vanilla rosette on top (1/2" by 10" cardstock scored every 1/4"), followed by a 1" circle of silver glimmer paper and a black button.  Hot glue was used to attach all.
On the other, I placed a Real Red rosette, followed by a 1" silver glimmer circle and a faceted vintage button on top of that.

Edges:
The video suggested using red sticky tape along the edges, and after removing the protective cover, sprinkle lots of champagne glass glitter.  I used tombo glue instead and it worked very well. There was just a bit of a drying time before the ornament could be handled.  Since I did not have Champagne glitter, I used Silver.

The string to hang the ornament up is Baker's twine (10") which I hot glued to the back of one of the points.

Papers used:  The red is retired from last year: the Early Espresso/Veryvanilla is from Candlelight Christmas designer series. You can make 4 ornaments from 1 12 by 12" piece of designer paper.
