I have been working behind the scenes to coordinate the hookup between SendaSmile4Kids (Canada) and Crop Circles in Peterborough. Last week it happened.
If any of you have cards to donate you can mail them to the address in the body of this blog. There is an American chapter if you wish to send the cards there.
This is from the Crop Circles blog (why reword a good post!!)
"Crafters, Our exciting news this week is that we are going to be
participating in the Send A Smile 4 Kids Canada program.Maria has been
working behind the scenes coordinating this with Shelley from British
Columbia and Susie from Sick Kids Hospital. We wanted to align with the
crafters out West as they have established guidelines and have been
doing this for some time very successfully.
Why did we select Sick Kids as our pilot project?
The answer is that Sick Kids Children's Hospital cares for the sickest of children from all over the world and that is where we thought we would start. We are hoping to expand this to other local hospitals with the need of some luv from all of you.Maria and I met last week to establish what our next steps would be so here is the help we need from all of you.
We will take any cards you can provide of general purpose ones as well.
We will be posting and thanking all who contribute on this blog as the cards come in.I can't wait to see what we can accomplish together. Please make sure you autograph your artwork on the back of your card or package so we know who to properly thank and acknowledge.
If you have any questions please contact the store by email or telephone at 705-201-1097
Hugs to you all and my thanks for taking a wee peak'
We can all make a differance in someone's life with random acts of kindness.

I am absolutely thrilled to announce that Send A Smile 4 Kids (Canada)
is expanding to Ontario! That's right, Helen & her team of card
makers at Cropcircles have volunteered to collect cards for distribution at Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto!!!!! I've checked out the store website and the cards being made are wonderful - the kids are going to be thrilled!
If you have cards to donate, they can be mailed to the Cropcircles store or dropped off (and while you're there you can pick up a few of thosecoveted necessary craft supplies you've been wanting needing).
