Floral Thank You - Sketch Frenzy Friday

This week went by very fast.  Market was busier this week and I sold a lot of cards.  July 1st is this Sunday and I'm off to Stoney Lake for another big craft show.
But today it's Friday, and time for another mini blog hop with Sketch Frenzy Friday.
This week's sketch is by Deb Currier, a sketch I had a lot of fun with as I got a chance to try out some new stuff.

The flower was made using 3 layers of the Floral Frames Framelits using Bashful blue card stock.  The edges were sponged with Island Indigo ink.  With a pair of paper snips, small cuts were made between each petal and the petals curled up. The layers were adhered together using tombo glue alternating the petals.
The middle of the flower was made using 2 layers of daffodil delight card stock again using the Floral Frames Framelits.  These edges were sponged with More Mustard before snipping between the petals and curling the petals up. The 2 layers were adhered together again alternating petals, and this unit adhered to the larger flower.
A large pearl was adhered in the center.  The entire flower was sprayed with vanilla smooch.

Above is a close up of the flower.

Here's Deb's sketch:

Wow, I just love all the elements of your card work so well together! I love how you made the paper blossom. Very clever and creative. The shapes of the petals really play well with the pattern of the DSP. As does the font in the sentiment. Your whole card is cohesive and fun! TFS
