Sending Sympathy and Prayers - Sketch Frenzy Friday

Today is Friday, the day of my knee replacement surgery, and time for the Sketch Frenzy blog hop.
Hope you can join us and delight in the creativity of all the SFF team members.

Today's sketch is by Robbie Rubella:

Here is my interpretation.  It was rather ironic that I made a sympathy card as one of our team members lost a family member last night.  Patrice, this is for you.

Card Base:
Marina Mist, layered with Whisper White, and then Beau Chateau designer paper embossed with the Square lattice embossing folder.

Focal Image:
The image was stamped using the Two Stamped Stamping Technique, although my technique is not flawless.  The main image was stamped with Basic Black on Whisper White, two stamped with Marina Mist, and the leaves and stems colored with the Pear Pizzazz marker.  Some dazzling details was applied to the blossoms. The edges were sponged with Marina Mist.
It was matted with Marina Mist card stock.

For the second half of the focal image Beau Chateau designer paper was used, and matted with Marina Mist card stock.  Edges here were sponged with Marina Mist as well.

Card Recipe:
Stamps: Simply Soft, Petite Pairs
Inks: Basic Black, Marina Mist, Pear Pizzazz marker
Papers: Marina Mist, Whisper White, Beau Chateau designer paper
Accessories: Square Lattice embossing folder, 1/2" Soft Suede seam binding, 1/8" Marina Mist taffeta ribbon, dazzling details

Now you give the sketch a try, and upload your creation to the SFF homepage here
Your next stop on the blog hop tour is Robbie's here and there will be a link there for the next blog.  Check out all the team members creations.  And don't forget to leave comments as we all love them.
