Tissue Paper Birthday - Try Stampin' on Tuesday #52

Try Stampin' on Tuesday is celebrating its first birthday this week, and the challenge is to make a birthday card to celebrate the event.here

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TRY STAMPIN' ON TUESDAY

May your next year be as big and as colorful as this flower

Making the Flower:
Using a 3 1/8" scallop circle die and the Big shot,  scalloped circles were die cut from 5 layers of  calypso coral tissue paper.
Each scallop was snipped half way to the center.
Then with my fingers, the top of each cut piece was twisted.
The layers were adhered together, applying adhesive only to the center.
A scallop circle punch was used to punch out some silver card stock.
Each scallop was snipped half way to the center and bent towards the center
Adhere this scallop to the center of the flower
Insert a 5/8" brown brad into the center.
Apply dazzling dimensions to the silver petals and the top of the brad.
See a close up of the flower below

Recipe for the Card:

Stamp: Petite Pairs
Inks: Soft Suede
Papers: Soft suede, Very Vanilla, Everyday Enchantment Designer paper, Tissue Paper (non SU)
Accessories: Scallop Circle #2 die, Scallop circle punch, 5/8" Neutral brad, Dazzling dimensions, rhinestones, Label framelit, 5/8" Victoria Crochet trim, 3/8" Soft Suede taffeta ribbon, 1 3/4 by 7/8" Oval punch, dimensionals.
