Thoughts of You - Sketch Frenzy Friday

Today is Friday, so its time for Sketch Frenzy Friday and time to share a cup of tea.
This week's sketch is by Jennifer Weide

Here is my card:
Stamps: Tea Shoppe, Loving Thoughts
Inks: Soft Suede, Marina Mist
Papers: Marina Mist, Naturals Ivory, Very Vanilla, Pink Pirouette, Soft Suede, Attic Boutique designer paper
Accessories: Scallop border punch, 1/8" Marina Mist taffeta ribbon, pearls, dimensionals, Vanilla clear embossing powder
Sharing a cup of tea has many values as epidomized in the poem below:

A Cup of Tea – Tea Poetry

When I was sad and not even a hug could comfort bring
I sat quietly inhaling the steam from a hot cup of tea
When laughter overflowed and joy surrounded me
I celebrated with a cup of tea
When the burdens of life fettered my feet
I was set free by prayer over a cup of tea
When overwhelmed by the love in my heart
I sent out my love by sharing a cup of tea
~ Nikki Means, 2010

Now its time for you to try your hand with this sketch.  When you have completed your project don't forget to upload it to the SFF homepage here

That's what I was going to say lololol. I love this stamp set. And the pearls do add a touch of elegance to your card. I especially liked your Cup of Tea poem. I'm going to go and make me a cup of tea right now!

Love your tea cup card. It is so feminine and dainty looking. By the way Maria love the look of your new blog. It looks so bright and spring like. A real upper.
