Well, we're already on Day 4 of the Advent Calendar. If you're seeing this post for the first time, I am posting one day of the Advent Calendar for the month of October , so the task of creating the calendar isn't so onorous (is that a word?) The links for the Days 1-3 are at the bottom of the post.
Day 4
Papers: Garden Green, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White
Inks: Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green
Accessories: 1 14" circle punch, 1/2" circle punch.
Method:
- Cut a piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock 2 by 2"
- Using a 1 1/4" square punch, punch out one piece of Whisper White Card stock
- Stamp image using Garden Green ink in the middle of the Whisper White card stock. Conversely, the image can be stamped then punched out with a 1 1/4" square punch.
- Optional: Using different color markers colour each element of the image in different colours i.e. the number 4 in garden green, the presents in cherry cobbler, the star in daffodil delight, and the lines around the stamp garden green. I did this in a couple of calendars and I like it much better.
- Adhere the Whisper White to the 2 by 2" piece of Cherry Cobbler.
- Adhere the Cherry Cobbler to the back of the scalloped peek-a-book window
- For the lid: stamp the number 4 in Cherry Cobbler
- Punch out with a 1/2" circle punch
- Adhere to a 1" chocolate chip circle
- Adhere this to the outside of the window lid
