Iris Folded Merry Christmas - Unscripted sketch Challenge #115

This week's challenge with Unscripted Sketches is a piggyback challenge here.  This means that there is an additional optional challenge to add an element to the project.
This month, to fit in with the theme of Christmas, is to use wrapping paper with the theme.  It didn't have to be Christmas wrapping paper - but I decided to use left over foil wrapping paper from last year.

An Iris Folded Rectangle was made using 4 different types of foil Christmas wrapping paper.  The rectangle was matted on to a Wild Wasabi panel and again on to a piece of Real Red Cardstock.
In the middle of the Iris Folding, I placed the image of the Christmas bells from the Bells & Boughs stamp set which had been mounted on a 1 3/8" Whisper White Circle.

The sentiment was placed below it.

The larger of the 2 remaining elements was also from the same stamp set and embossed with black embossing powder.  The smaller green one was embossed with the northern Flurry embossing folder.
All edges were inked with Early Espresso ink.

The base card stock is Real Red,  It is matted with Whisper White embossed with the Petals-a-Plenty embossing folder.

This is a close up of the focal image showing the Iris Folded rectangle.

Stamp: Bells & Boughs
Inks: Real Red, Early Espresso, Wondercolor crayons,
Papers: Real Red, Whisper White, Wild Wasabi, Foil Christmas Wrapping Paper (non SU)
Accessories: 1 3/8" circle punch, 1 3/4 X 7/8" oval punch, Black embossing powder, Northern Flurries embossing folder, Petals-a-Plenty embossing folder, rhinestones, crystal effects, dimensionals, 1/4" Real Red Grosgrain ribbon.

Great idea Maria to use the foil wrapping paper for the Iris Folding. You know that is one of my favorite techniques, and I love what you did!
