Buttons - Hand Stamped Sentiments #74

Button, button.  Who's Got the Button?  The challenge with Hand Stamped Sentiments here- was to create a project showcasing buttons in all kinds of ways.

Here's the card I came up with:

I started by punching out various images from the Doily Triple Layer Punch and Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch using various patterns and colors from the In Color Paper Pack.  Finding buttons to match the paper colors, I put linen thread through the buttons and using a glue dot attached the button to the punchie.  Silver glass glitter was applied to 2 of the buttons.
The button/punchie unit was attached to a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock that had been embossed with the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder and inked with Soft Suede ink.  With a ruler and soft suede marker, I made stitching marks all around the edges.
This was layered on Whisper White cardstock, whose edges had been inked with soft suede ink.  A piece of 3/8" Early espresso taffeta ribbon was attached to the left edge.  A bow made of the same ribbon was attached to the sentiment "Friend".
This was attached to a Soft Suede base.

Stamp: With All My Heart
Ink: Soft Suede ink and marker
Papers: Soft Suede, Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Various In Color Designer paper from Paper Pack
Accessories: Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder, Doily Triple Layer Punch, Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch, Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch, Buttons of various colors, Linen thread, Silver Glass glitter, 3/8" Early Espresso taffeta ribbon, 1 3/4 by 7/8" oval punch, Stampin dimensionals, glue dots
