Money Holder - ColourQ Challenge #88

This is a money holder I made using the colors of the color challenge with ColourQ here
These werre the colours:  Early Espresso, Soft Suede, Kraft (Crumb Cake) and Cherry cobbler.
I used the tutorial on a video made by Dawn Griffin.

Stamp: The Open Sea
Inks: Early Espresso
Papers: Early Espresso, Whisper White, Soft Suede, Cherry Cobbler, Nautical Expedition Designer Paper,, Crumb Cake
Accessories: Scallop edge punch, Scallop circle punch, 1 3/8" circle punchf, 1 1/4" circle punch, 1" circle punch
Here's how I made it:
1.  Early Espresso card stock 7 1/2 X 7 1/8" .  On the 7 1/8" side score at 2 3/4 & 5 3/4".  Fold all score lines
2.  Designer Paper  - Nautical Expedition    6 3/4 X 2
3.  Belly Band - Crumb Cake - 7 X 1"  Scored at 1 3/4 & 4 3/4"
4.  1/8" strip (6 3/4") Cherry Cobbler
5.  Punch one Scallop Circle in Cherry cobbler & one 1 3/8" circle in soft suede
6.  Stamp image of compass in Early Espresso ink on whisper White & punch with 1 1/4" circle.
Sponge all edges with Early Espresso ink.
7, Adhere the image to the 1 3/8 circle and that to the Scallop circle.
8.  Using the scallop border punch, scallop punch the 2 3/4" edge.
9.  Adhere the designer paper above the scalloped edge.  Adhere the strip of cherry cobbler
10.  On the bottom piece (where the money will go), punch a half circle out (in the middle) using a 1" circle punch.
11.  Use sticky strip to adhere the 2 bottom sides together.
12.  Put belly band around money holder.  Apply snail adhesive to adhere ends.
13.  Adhere the image piece over the seam using stampin dimensionals.
Insert money and you're done.

Here the money holder is opened.  The belly band can be removed and then put back on the closed holder to keep it closed.
