4 You - Saturday Sketch Challenge 209

This card was inspired by the Poppies in my garden - which, as of today, have finished blooming.  I used the sketch challenge with Stamping 411 here

Stamp: Tiny Tags
Inks: Basic black, Versa Mark
Papers: Basic Black, Love Letter Designer Paper, Very Vanilla, Poppy Parade
Accessories: Fun flower die, Sparkle die (retired), 5/8" brad (embossed black), black embossing powder, 2 3/8" scallop circle punch, 2 1/2" circle punch, Jewelry tag punch, linen thread.

The Poppy was a lot of fun to make.  I cut 2 of the largest flowers using the Fun flower die (Poppy Parade card stock), and used the sparkle die to cut the center (in black).  I spritzed the flowers and the center with water and crumpled them up- and uncrumpled then only partially.
The brad in the middle was crumb cake in color, so using versa mark and black embossing powder, converted it to black in color.
