Flower Fest - with Mystery Envelope - Try Stamping on Tuesday #12

The envelope on this card is to have something in it - something mysterious that I will reveal in the second picture.  This is the sketch challenge for Try Stamping on Tuesday here

The first thing I did was make the vellum envelope with a flap opening at the top.  The two front panels were embossed with the filial press embossing folder and then colored with markers on the wrong side. A vanilla rosette was colored with Rose Red marker, a tiny ribbon folder underneath and all attached with a glue dot.  Two mysterious items were placed inside the envelope before I sealed it.
The envelope straddles the leaf and flower stamp from the Fabulous Flower stamp set and embossed with Wild Wasabi embossing powder  The roses at either end are from the Flower Fest Stamp set and embosssed with Melon Mambo and Tangerine Tango embossing powders.  I filled in the flowers with wondercolor watercolor crayons.
Stamps: Flower Fest, Fabulour Florets, Word Play
Inks: Versa Mark, Basic Black, Wild Wasabi, Markers (Rose Red, Pretty in Pink, Certainly Celery) Crayons (Tangerine Tango, Pumpkin Pie, Pink Pirouette)
Papers: Wild Wasabi, Whisper White, Vellum
Accessories:Finial Press embossing folder, dimensionals, glue dots, vanilla rosettes, Melon Mambo, Wild Wasabi and Tangerine Tango embossing powders, Aqua brush

On the sentiment, I stamped the "so" in red, cut it out and mounted it over the original word with a dimensional.  I did the same with the "i" in brackets.

Now for the reveal:

I embossed a leaf with Wild Wasabi embossing  powder and the butterfly with both Wild Wasabi and Tangerine Tango,  The body and antennae were embossed with black embossing powder.

Was it worth the wait?
