Hydrangea Anniversary Card - Stamping 411

This card is based on the challenge sketch with Stamping 411 here
Stamp: Teeny Tiny Wishes
Inks: Marina Mist, Old Olive, Basic Black
Papers: Marina Mist, Old Olive, Whisper White, Bashful Blue, Springtime Vintage Designer Series
Accessories: Vintage Wallpaper Embossing folder, 5/8" marina mist satin ribbon, antique brad, Full Heart punch, Small heart punch, stylus, pearls, stampin dimensionals

The flowers were made using the Full Heart punch.  A piece of Bashful Blue card stock was folded in half -only the top half of the heart punch was used to punch out the flower.  Two of the petals formed this way make one hydrangea flower.  I used the small heart punch in the same way to make the smaller flowers.
Each flower petal was sponged with Marina Mist ink.  After the ink was dry, I dry embossed the middle of each petal with a stylus to shape it, and then pinched the ends.  The 2 petals were then attached one on top of each other with a dot of tombo glue, and a pearl was put in the center. The flower was attached to the card with a Stampin dimensional.
The leaf was cut with a pair of scissors along a folded line of a piece of Old Olive card stock.  After cutting, I serrated the edges with the scissors and drew lines in each leaf with a stylus to imitate veins.  The edges and  veins of each leaf was sponged with Old Olive ink.
Here is a close up of the flowers and the leaves.

I first saw these flowers made on a You Tube video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZIgY34JGpCE  but the design on the card is mine.
