Snow Swirled - another class card

I was at a workshop last night and there were 9 people there (only 6 were expected).  Thank goodness I had the foresight to make 10 kits of the project I was planning to do.  Two of the participants were children under the age of 12 and they were marvelous!  They followed directions better than some adults I have in my classes.  After the workshop was over, and while I was taking orders, these 2 continued on with other projects using remnants of paper, glue and glitter and had a whale of a time.  It makes me think I should do a class just for children under 12.  The total order wasn't that great - no bookings, no recruits - but a good time was had by all.  Actually, I'm feeling discouraged today because I have been trying so hard - doing all the things suggested in the "Acts" and nothing is happening for me.
I wanted to share another card for class this Wednesday.  Another fairly simple card, and can be made with minimal directions on my part.
Stamp: Snow Swirled
Ink: Versa Mark
Paper: Poppy Parade, Pear Pizzaz.  The card base is Pear Pizzaz.  I ran the next layer (Poppy Parade) through the Big Shot using a texture plate.  I haven't used those in a while, and it makes a nice subtle background for this relatively simple card.
Accessories: Texture plate, gold embossing powder, crochet trim. Optional:  a pearl or rhinestone on the snowflake on top of the tree or in the tree itself.  I'll leave that up to the class to determine how much further they wish to embellish the card.

I love to watch my kids design they'll try anything. On Sunday I was in my room getting ready for a class, I was practicing the Soot Technique. My daguhter and her friend just loved running the cardstock through the flame. Kyra's did catch on fire once. You should have a kids class. I did mom and me class once, they're alot of fun.
