Whale of a Card

Today's card combines challenge 82 - under the sea, and the Technostamper sketch challenge.
The basic card is Pacific blue, upon which is mounted marina mist card stock that has been embossed with the polka dot embossing folder.
The image is stamped with Marina Mist and punched out using the 1 3/4" round punch.  All edges were sponged with Marina Mist.  The image was mounted on a tag shaped piece of Crumb Cake card stock that had been distressed with the texture plate and the Big Shot.  This was mounted on a rectangular piece of Elegant Soiree designer paper to which a strip of Whisper White cardstock had been attached at either end and scalloped with the scallop edge punch. I also sponged these scallop edges with Marina Mist.
To further give the card that under the sea 'look and feel', the whale was covered with Crystal Effects to make it wet and shiny .  Bubbles of Crystal Effects emerge from the Whale's mouth and rise to the surface of the card.  On the Crumb Cake tag, I smeared some Crystal Effects randomly across the surface and covered this with white microbeads to give the look and feel of sand.
Here are the materials I used to make the card:
Stamp: Fox and Friends
Ink: Marina Mist
Paper: Pacific Point, Marina Mist, Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Elegant Soiree designer paper
Accessories:  Distress Texture Plate, Polka Dot Embossing Folder, Crystal Effects, Microbeads, 1 3/4" round punch. Scallop Edge punch
