Together - Embossed alcohol ink background

Lately I've been working with alcohol inks and tonight I thought I'd try something different - embossed alcohol ink resist.
Here's how I did the background:
1.  Emboss glossy cardstock with the Finial Press embossing folder.
2.  Lightly sand the raised embossed surface.
3.  Apply alcohol inks and pearl mixative (I used Raisin, Stream, and Lettuce) in a random, dabbing pattern.
4. Lightly sand the embossed surface again, and reapply the alcohol ink mixture.

If you look closely you can see that the sanded embossed surfaces "took up" most of the colour .
T he recipe for the rest of the card:
Stamps: Studio Sketches, In a word
Paper: Cherry cobbler, glossy card stock, whisper white
Ink: Basic black, Black Stazon.  The main image was coloured using the following inks and a blender pen: More Mustard, Summer Sun, Night of Navy, Cherry Cobbler, Sage Shadow.
Accessories: Finial Press embossing folder, Circles #2 die, scallop oval punch, 1/8" vanilla ribbon,Filigree brads
