Come to Bethlehem - Challenge 183 & Technostamper 231

I must admit making Christmas cards makes a body feel cooler.  The heat here has been unrelenting and today is no different.  What we need is more rain! Already the corn crops are ruined by the lack of it.

To make the card for the Technostamper challenge here  I turned the sketch sideways.

Snow Flurries Christmas - TSSC 230

This card was partially cased from the Holiday catalogue Pg. 14.  The sketch with Technostamper here  provided me with the perfect opportunity to use the new Snow Flurries die.

 

The die cut snowflakes were first painted with Frost White shimmer paint, and when dry were attached on top of each other using dimensionals.  A pearl was placed in the center of the snowflake unit.

Open Sleigh Christmas - Paper Pal Arts 139

When I saw the sketch with PPA 139 here  I knew exactly which stamp set I was going to use.

The image was stamped with Versa Mark on Very Vanilla and embossed with Cherry Cobbler embossing powder.

Christmas Blessings - Divasc 197

Another hot muggy day in southern Ontario.  My son cut the grass and discovered a defect in the electrical cord.  So, we just got back from purchasing another one.  I'm really glad to get back into my craft room.
This card is for the Utah Divas International sketch challenge here  It is a nice simple sketch and fun to do.

Christmas Lodge Merry Christmas - Just Add Ink 126

Whew!! What a hot day today.  With the humidity factor the thermometer is hovering at 41 degrees C (about 90 degrees or so).  It's just too hot to spend any time outdoors.
So, I'm spending time in my craft room, making of all things, Christmas cards.
This card was made using the sketch challenge with Just Add Ink here

The image was stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink, then covered with Versa Mark ink and embossed with Iridescent Ice embossing powder.  I'm feeling cooler just looking at the image.
