Globe cards- a snowman and a penquin

I purchased the globe cards (and envelopes) at the Ecstasy Craft store in Shannonville. Today I made 2 cards.

The outer edges of the snow globe were sponged with Basic Gray ink.

An acrylic circle larger than the aperture of the globe was die cut and adhered to the inside of the globe. A similar sized circle was die cut in Basic White and the image stamped on that

The image and sentiment are from Frog's Whiskers Ink.  The snowman checking the mail from Santa, was stamped with Black Memento ink and coloured using Stampin' Blends.

The sky was coloured using a blender brush and the following ink colours:  Balmy blue, Starry Sky, and Night of Navy. I added snowflakes using acrylic paint and a tooth pick.

Liquid Applique and glitter was added to the snowy areas

The sentiment was stamped with Starry Sky ink with the words cut out as shown.  The words were also adhered to some chipboard to give them some dimension. The Christmas greeting was adhered to the inside; the other words were adhered to the base of the globe on the outside.

Here is the second card:
