Catching More Butterflies and more Sale-a-bration (SAB) goodies - with a video

I did a blog post highlighting this SAB stamp set in December here but I did not make a video to go with it.

Yesterday I took another look at this free SAB offering and added 2 more items.  I also  introduced the newest addition to the Stampin' Blends family - the Natural Tones Stampin' collection,  markers we have all been waiting for to help us to colour a variety of more natural skin tones.  More about these alcohol ink markers later. P.S. I did use these markers to colour the skin of this butterfly catcher.

In addition to the "Catching Butterflies" stamp set, I used the Friendly Hello DSP

The card below is not the card I made in the video in that I did not add the curious cat.

Below is the video which you can watch on this blog post or on You Tube here

Supplies Used:
Stamp:  Catching Butterflies
Inks:  black Memento, Stampin' Blends - Granny Apple Green, Crumb Cake, Cinnamon Cider, Balmy Blue, Pool Party) Cajun Craze, Balmy Blue
Papers:
Granny Apple Green 4 1/4 by 11 scored at 5 1/2
Friendly Hello DSP'  3 by 7" added at an angle on front of card base
Basic White - 3 1/4 by 2" - die cut with Stitched So Sweetly die.  A blending brush was used so apply some Balmy Blue ink to the middle of this piece.
A scrap piece of Basic White was used for the sentiment.  This was matted with Cajun Craze card stock to match the color of her hair and her freckles.
Accessories:  Dimensionals, 1/4" White ribbon coloured with a Granny Apple marker to match her dress.
