I was not familiar with the meaning of "cloche" so I 'googled' it. This is what I found out.
Cloche is French for "bell"
In agriculture and gardening, a cloche is a covering for protecting plants from cold temperatures. The original form of a cloche was a bell shaped glass cover that was placed over an individual plant. Modern cloches are usually made from plastic.
Indoors a similar cover is used to display or protect ornamental objects or placed over food.
In card making it is a bell shaped cover that protects/ covers stamped images with or without shaker elements.
In the card below, the cloche shaker dome protects the image and contains the shaker elements.
