Reflected in Nature- 4 Ways plus video

A cabin in the woods - it's winter, and the water in front of the cabin is almost frozen.  It looks really cold! A hawk flies over head but is not depicted in the reflections on the lake.

The above depicts how I see the stamp set "Reflections in Nature", currently being offered in the August to December  2021 Mini Catalogue.

I decided to stamp the image several different ways.  In all cases I used the Stamparatus to stamp the image.

1.  Monochromatic in Blue

For this card I stamped the entire image with Night of Navy ink and mounted it on a larger piece of Basic White card stock and then onto a layer of Misty Moonlight card stock embossed with the Timber Embossing Folder.
For a bit of texture, some Liquid Applique and Dazzling Diamonds was added to the area on the shore line that looked like a snow bank.
Because it reminded me of a picture frame I added a ribbon at the top to look like a hanging loop.  I'm not sure if that look came across......

2.  Breathe Deep - take time for you

Two colours of brown ink were used for this card.  The top (trees and cabin) was stamped using Early Espresso ink; the bottom half with Crumb Cake.  It didn't matter if thee was some overlapping of the colours in the middle.
Tearing around the edges gave the picture an aged look and after applying Soft Suede ink  along the torn edges it was matted with Very Vanilla card stock.

The card base is Soft Suede matted with Harvest Meadow DSP.  Down the center is a strip of Crumb Cake embossed with the Old Paper Embossing folder and matted with Early Espresso card stock.  The completed art piece is adhered to the center panel using dimensionals.

The sentiments, stamped using Early Espresso ink , were matted with the same colour of card stock and added above and below the image piece.

3.  Each Day is an Adventure     Blue on Blue

Like the previous card, two colours were used- Night of Navy for the trees and cabin; pool party for the lake.  Again I tore the edges, but did not mat it with another piece of card stock. Crystal Effects is added to the water.

The card base of Misty Moonlight is layered with Harvest Meadow DSP.  A strip of Misty Moonlight embossed with the Bark embossing folder, is matted with Night of Navy and added to the card center. The Art piece is added to this strip using dimensionals.
Crystal Effects was also added   to the water
The hawk was stamped with Misty Moonlight and punched with a 1" circle punch before being placed above the sentiment.

Misty Moonlight was used to stamp the sentiment as well as mat it and then added at one end of the art piece.

Using markers:
I wanted to create autumn colours on the image, so I added several markers of different autumn colours (Old Olive, Real Red, Pumpkin Pie Daffodil Delight, Cajun Craze) randomly on the top half and less so on the bottom.  I huffed, and I stamped, and I was delighted!
