Pretty Pumpkins in Welcoming Woods

It's pumpkin time!  The weather has been incredibly warm for October and children are flocking to the pumpkin farms to pick their own Pumpkin to decorate.  Even my grandchildren, although the oldest is now 16,  still want to go to the Pumpkin patch.

Today's card combines two stamp sets:  Welcoming Woods and Pretty Pumpkins.

The stamparatus was used to stamp the trees on Basic whiter cardstock using Smokey Slate ink. When the ink was dry, several shades of blue were added to the sky with a blender brush - starting with Balmy Blue, followed by Misty Moonlight and finally Night of Midnight.  The movement of the brush were purposely random in nature giving one the feeling that a storm is coming.
The leaves were stamped with Misty Moonlight, Cajun Craze, Real Red, and Crushed Curry.
A white gel pen was used to add detail to the trees and add snowflakes in the sky
On a separate piece of Basic White card stock, the three pumpkins were stamped. coloured with Stampin' Blends (Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive) and then die cut.  Extra leaves and stems were also coloured and die cut.

The pumpkins and leaves were arranged at the bottom of the trees and added with dimensionals.
To add sparkle, Dazzling Details was added using a fine tipped glue pen.
The sentiment, from the same stamp set, was added  at the top of the card using dimensionals.  The edges were sponged with Night of Navy ink to make it stand out a bit more.
