Thinking of You with Inspired Canopy Dies -Another catalogue sneak peak

There are 3 trees in a row, adhered together, with the Inspired Canopy dies.  To make this card, after die cutting the trees in Soft Suede, I cut off the end tree, and used the remaining trees for this card. The other tree was used for another project.

Before I added the trees, I created a background using the curved line die.  Using this, I cut two pieces of Old Olive card stock, embossed them with the Wrapped in Texture Embossing Folder.  After sponging the edges with Old Olive ink, I added the 2 layers together to give dimension. And they were then adhered to some DSP that looks just like sky.

The trees were then added to the left side of the card.  The canopy was created by using the canopy dies, cutting them directly from the Beauty of the Earth DSP.  Because the background of the DSP was white, I sponged the entire surface with Balmy blue to make it look like the sky was peeking through.

The fences ( 3 adhered together) were die cut using the Chick dies and adhered at the bottom in front of the trees. The two birds, coloured to look like Robins, were added on top of the fence, facing each other.

The completed scene was added to a Basic White layer the edges of which were sponged with Soft Suede.  This in turn was added to an Old Olive card base.
