Camping Under the Moon

There’s nothing like camping when there's a full moon.

I created this night scene using 4 different shades of blue, my blender brushes, and the Campology stamp set.

Because there is a full moon in the picture  I applied a post it note punched with a 1 1/4” circle punch at the location of this celestial being.  Then I grabbed my blender brushes and the following shades of blue- Pool Party, Balmy Blue, Pacific Point and Night of Navy ink to create the sky.  I started with the lightest colour first with Night of Navy last.

After the post- note was removed, some Night of Navy ink was sponged around the edges to give it a more 3D look.  Some Night of Navy ink was also pulled across the surface. Mossy Meadow was used for the grass.

Night of Navy ink was used to stamp the tree cluster on the left side. To complete the grass line I turned the stamp upside down, inking only the bottom, grassy area.

The 1/4" crinkled Whisper White ribbon tied around the bottom, was coloured with a Balmy Blue stamp N Blend   and tied into a bow.  The matted sentiment, is added straddling the ribbon,

The binoculars was stamped and coloured on a separate piece of Basic White, then fussy cut.  It was added on the eft side, again straddling the ribbon.

To finish the card, I added some blue rhinestones.
