Finally, I get to play with the Snowflake Wishes bundle! Snowflakes are so much associated with Christmas, and their unique shapes and sizes appeal to me.
I made two cards today featuring this bundle and will show them to you with separate posts.
In this first card, I use the techniques of sponging and emboss resist to highlight these wonderful little sparkles.
On a Night of Navy card base is a layer of Whisper White following by a smaller layer of Whisper White card stock.
Various sizes and shapes of snowflakes are embossed with white embossing powder followed by sponging using the following colours: Pool Party, Pacific Point and Night of Navy. Sponging is done from lighter to darker colours.
A soft cloth wiped over this art piece revealed the embossed snowflakes. They had resisted the embossing and now twinkled in the night sky,
Night of Navy ink was used to stamp the sentiment and self adhesive blue gems were added to the center of some of the snowflakes.
