Double Triangle Fold Card- a tutorial

Like most of you I crave for human contact, for dinners with family and friends, for walks in the park, and for life to return to some sense of normalcy.

Working on my projects has really helped, especially making videos which has been somewhat of a steep learning curve.

I hope to have a video of this neat fun fold card done soon. In the meantime I will work on this post and edit the video tomorrow.

I came across this fun fold on Pinterest about a week ago and since then I have made several cards using it.

Below are two of the first ones:

A 8 1/2 by 11” piece of Purple Posy card stock it scored first at 4 1/4" on the short side and at 5 1/2" on the long side. It is then cut on the diagonal with the opposite points in the cutting track using the middle intersecting mark as a guide to determine the center.  This results in 2 triangular cards.

Each half is folded o the score lines to form 4 1/4 b y 5 1/2" cards, with triangles that open up in different directions.

First fold opens to left

Second fold opens to the top

The front of each card is decorated using a 3 3/4 by 5" piece of Well Dressed DSP cut in half at a diagonal. A 4 by 5 1/4" piece of Whisper White is added to the inside.

The sentiment, from "Strong and Beautiful" has been highlighted with a SU marker, stamped on Whisper white, die cut with the Ornate Frame Die, and adhered to a more ornate Ornate Frame Die.  Only the left side of the sentiment is adhered to the card front.

Sorry the video is not ready - maybe tomorrow.
