Silhouette Sunset with the Gang's All Meer

This card was originally designed by Kerry Bunting an Australian Demonstrator.  Since then numerous demonstrators have emulated her work with many similar cards appearing on Pinterest.

I was inspired by the original designer as well as Frenchie and Tina Zinck to try this technique for myself.

1.  Start with a 3 3/4 by 5" piece of Whisper White card stock.  Die cut a large circle with photocopy paper to use as a mask for the sun.  Apply a thin layer of tombo glue to one side of this circle and allow it to dry.  The surface is then sticky allowing the circle to be repositional.
2.  Using a foam brayer, apply a thin layer of So Saffron ink on the entire surface.
3.  Apply the circle mask
4.  Brayer the following colours in this order:  So Saffron, Calypso Coral, Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze.
5.  Mask lower part of image piece.  Brayer some Cherry Cobbler along the horizon.
6.  Remove mask
7..  Stamp images from the "Gang's All Meer"  using the Stamparatus
8.  Tear a strip of copy paper or a long post it note and mask off the entire art piece except for a strip at the bottom.
9.  Brayer some Early Expresso and Black Memento ink.
10.  With a black marker, colour in the images making them look like silhouettes.
11.  Stamp sentiment of choice.

9.  Remove mas
