Under One Umbrella - Always - a remarkable recovery

A wonderful couple I know recently went through a miraculous journey of recovery from a lifesaving surgery.

Tom and Rose Marie operate a book and craft supply store in a nearby town.  Tom recently underwent a double lung transplant for pulmonary fibrosis and Rose Marie was there by his side the entire time.

Both are home now.

I made this card for the two of them.

The image of two people under one umbrella was embossed with black embossing powder on a Brusho background, the die cut with a stitched window die.  The umbrella was embossed a second time on a separate piece of Whisper White card stock and coloured with Stampin' Blends.  It was fussy cut and adhered over the original umbrella using dimensionals.  Some clear Wink of Stella was applied to the umbrella.

This art piece was adhered to a star studded Night of Navy  background over a 3/8" sparkly soft seaside spray ribbon.  A bow made from that same ribbon was added to the right side of the art piece. The stars were embossed with sparkly white embossing powder.

The sentiment was also embossed with black embossing powder and added with dimensionals.
