My Last Christmas card featuring a Gingerbread House

One of my team members invited me to make a real Gingerbread House from a kit with a few other people, and although I was tempted I did not take her up one it.  I just knew I would be eating a lot of the candy etc, so I decided on a no caloric, no sugar approach - a card featuring a Gingerbread House

The gingerbread house  and 3 trees were stamped on Whisper White cardstock and coloured with Stampin' Blends ( Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Old Olive , Real Red) and fussy cut.  Puff Paint was added to the top of the door and around the front of the house and Dazzling diamonds to the trees.  In addition Shimmer Crystal Effects was applied to the windows, candy canes, and the Gingerbread Man and Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details (retired) added to other accents.

Using dimensionals, the Gingerbread House was added to the Whisper White card front layer embossed with the Hammered Metal Embossing Folder.  It was positioned just above the strip of Red Glimmer paper. which has a piece of 3/8" Real Red cotton blend ribbon added to the top of it.  A bow made with the ribbon was added to the left side. This white embossed layer was matted with Real Red card stock and then added to a Thick top folded Whisper White card base.

One of the fussy cut trees was placed on the left side of the house; the second to the right below the ribbon. The third one was placed on the inside of the card.

The sentiment, stamped with Black Memento with the "Yummy" stamped in Real Red, is from this stamp set.
