Dazzling Diamonds Glitter cards & Adhesive sheets- a tutorial

Glitter on the front of Christmas and other cards is so eye catching.  In the past I have used dryer sheets and heat and stick powder, and although happy with those methods, I thought I would try an updated method - using adhesive sheets.  Unfortunately Stampin' Up does not carry adhesive sheets any more, but they are available on-line elsewhere.

Completed card

Supplies Needed:
  • Dazzling Diamonds
  • Tray
  • Adhesive sheet
  • bone folder
  • scissors
  • image

Step 1:

  • Remove the top cover of the adhesive sheet - this is the cover with the name Sizzix on it.  This exposes an adhesive layer.

Step 3:
  • Add image piece on adhesive surface - image side down.  Please excuse the images on the back of this piece.  I recycle a lot of paper and this is from another project.

  • Return the cover piece and with a pair of scissors trim off the excess adhesive sheet.

Step 5:
  • Remove the adhesive cover on the bottom (without any names on it).  This exposes the adhesive on the image piece itself.

Step 6:

  • Add dazzling diamonds on entire surface of image

Step 7:
  • Place original cover  on top of completed image and burnish with a bone folder.  This ensures that all the dazzling diamonds are adhered to the image piece.

  • remove this cover and you are finished
  • use the image to make a card
