Garage Gears Gatefold Shutter Card

It's been a long time since I made a shutter card and I had forgotten how much fun it was to make one.
There are many tutorials related to this interactive card but I chose to use the one by Sandy McIver here

Since the theme in my upcoming class is Masculine cards featuring the Geared up Garage bundle I used that to make this card.

Measurements:
  • Tranquil Tide card base 5 1/2 by 8 1/2"  scored at 2 1/8 and 6 3/8"
  • Classic Garage DSP 1 3/4 by 5 1/8" (2) for front
  • Inside center:  Tranquil Tide 5 1/2 by 3"  and DSP 5 1/4 by 2 3/4"
  • Whisper White 3 by 3 for sentiment
  • Tranquil Tide 4 by 3 1/2" scored at 1/2" on short side (2 pieces) for shutter
  • Tranquil Tide 1 by 11" for belly band
Decorations for belly band:
  • 2 3/8" circle die
  • Scallop circle die

Shutter pieces:
  • Measure half way down each side to find a point in the middle ( 2" on 4" side and 1 3/4" on 3 1/2" side)  With a pencil draw a line from this midpoint to each of the corners.  \
  • Fussy cut the notched area out.
