I cased this card from Michelle Wright after watching her video on You Tube here
I was particularly intrigued by the wedding dress and how to create the wonderful transparent, wispy look.
The image of the bride and her dress was embossed with gold embossing powder on Basic Black card stock.
Using Whisper White re inker and a small paint brush, the reinker was painted onto the dress. I used a different method of painting than Michelle in her video, applying the paint in little jabs and partially blending them. The end result was the same for both of us. I just love the way the dress turned out.
The sentiment, also embossed in gold on a separate piece of Basic Black, was punched with a 1 1/4" circle punch and matted with a gold foil 1 3/8" scallop circle punch. These two circles were adhered together using dimensionals and added to the left of the bride. Before adding it to the card front, some gold thread wound around my fingers and adhered to the back of the sentiment circle
The art piece was matted with Broadway Bound DSP - the gold and black diagonal stripe piece- and this was added to a Basic Black card base.
Supplies Used:
Stamp: Special Moments
