Hello Baby Post Card Pals

It's snowing again today but there is not much accumulation,  However the temperature is bitterly cold.  The roads should be okay for travelling for Christmas dinner with the family.

I had an unexpected Christmas card order that had to be done immediately, and once done I made another card using the Postcard Pals - this time a baby one.  I'm growing fond of this stamp set

This is a different take on the stork bringing a baby.  Instead here is a Pelican delivering a baby gold fish.  Absolutely adorable.

I again coloured the image with watercolour pencils and a blender pen, and then added some brighter colors and dimension using the Stampin' blends.  The layering circles framelits were used to die cut the image and I matted it with an open scallop circle (non SU) in Pacific Point.  This was added to the card front using dimensionals.

The card front is Pacific Point layered with Whisper White embossed with the striped and scallops embossing folder,  I placed a strip of Timeless Texture DSP with 3/8" white and blue stitched ribbon running down both sides.

The sentiment from "Baby Bear" was stamped on a scrap of Whisper White, matted with Pacific Point and added to the card front using dimensionals just below the image.
