Wishing You all the Best...

Today I was reminded that "what's old is new again"!  Now that Stampin' Up has brought back shiny card stock the polished stone has re-emerged.  So of course I had to experiment with some different combinations of reinkers.

One of the combinations I used was Crumb Cake, Soft Suede and Pool Party.

After the card stock was dry, I embossed the image of the wishing well with Black embossing powder.  I then colored the image lightly with SU markers.

Above is a close up showing the background a little clearer.

The focal image was matted with Basic Black card stock and added to the card front using dimensionals.

The basic card is Basic Black card stock. layered with Very Vanilla embossed with the Wood Grain embossing folder.  A 2" panel of Marina Mist was added to the left side and some Island Indigo ombre ribbon was added over the seam.

The sentiment was also embossed with black embossing powder.
