Mini Covered Post it Notes

I was inspired by pictures posted by Sandra Ronald on Pinterest. These adorable velcro closed mini note pads make great gifts, as well as a great addition to my craft table.  Covering them is also a way to use up retired 6 by 6 DSP stack packs.

.

I made 8 of them in about 1/2 an hour.

Here's how to make them:

1.  Start with a mini post it note (1 1/2 by 2")
2.  Cut a piece of DSP 2 by 6"
3.  Score at 3/4, 1 3/4, 2 1/8, 3 5/8, 4, and 5 1/4"
4.  Fold on score lines.
5.  Fold the DSP to the inside on both 3/4" folds
6.  Use the corner trio punch to punch the corners of the lid
7.  Adhere post it note
8.  Apply velcro to inside of lid and close to adhere to bottom.
9.  Attach a metal rimmed pearl to the lid.
