Butterfly Pop Up with Watercolor Wings

This card has been inspired by several demonstrators who have made different versions of the butterfly pop up card.
For this card I used the Watercolor Wings stamp set with the Butterfly framelits.

The front of this pop up card features a 3D butterfly, a sign of things to come.
On the Basic Black card base, I place a layer of Lemon Lime Twist card stock, and then a Whisper White layer stamped with the Definitely Dahlia stamp (second generation stamping) in Crushed Curry.
A scallop Rich Razzelberry circle provides a landing place for the butterfly.

A piece of 1/4"  Lemon Lime Twist ombre ribbon was added to the left side.

Colors for the butterfly on the front:  Tangerine Tango (second generation, Tangerine Tango, Black Memento.

Open the card, and magic happens:

Five butterflies pop up.
Below the butterflies is a sentiment from "Sunshine Wishes"

All the butterflies were stamped the same way, with one color.  The first layer was second generation, aka stamped off; second layer full strength of ink color; third layer also full strength of same color.  The body is stamped in Black Memento.

Colors for the butterflies: (from left to right)
Butterfly 1:  Lemon Lime Twist
Butterfly 2:  Tangerine Tango
Butterfly 3:  Dapper Denim
Butterfly 4:  Crushed Curry
Butterfly 5:  Rich Razzelberry

The butterflies were folded in half (color side in), and then attached to each other at the wing side edges only (not the entire wing).
After all butterflies attached together, attach one butterfly to the front inside near the top about 1 1/4" in.  Then add adhesive to the butterfly at the other end, and close the card.  Leave the card closed until adhesive has set.

Supplies Used:

Papers:  Basic Black, Whisper White, Rich Razzelberry
Accessories:  1/4" Lemon Lime Twist Ombre ribbon, Bold Butterfly Framelits, Butterfly thinlets, rhinestones, Sunshine Wishes thinlet dies
