Friend- a layout for Canadian Die Exchange group

One of the things I like to do, and have done a lot of to hone my skills, is to participate in sketch challenges.
This month, a group I belong to, the Canadian Die Cut Exchange group, has a card layout as a challenge!! Yippee!!
Here's what I came up with:

The base card is Elegant Eggplant, layered with Whisper White and then with Elegant Eggplant DSP cut in half near the top - so that the pattern at the top was flipped over to the other side.

A piece of Cucumber Crush ribbon was folded in half and wrapped around the card at the seam, and a knot tied near the right side.

First I punched 3 pieces of Whisper White with the 1 1/4" square punch, and using a mask, lightly sponged each piece lightly with Elegant Eggplant ink.  On the top square, one of the corners was inked a little darker; the middle the darker ink was applied to the outer side; the lower square in the other corner.
Then the dragon from from "Awsomely Artistic' was stamped at different angles on these squares.
Two way glue pen was applied to the wings, and dazzling diamond sprinkled over it.

Each square was matted with a 1 3/8" square Elegant Eggplant and adhered to a 4 1/2 by 1 1/2" piece of Whisper White (equally distributed) - except for the middle one, which was adhered using dimensionals.

The sentiment is from the same stamp set.

Supplies Used:
Stamp: Awesomely Artistic
Ink: Elegant Eggplant
Papers: Elegant Eggplant, Whisper White, Elegant Eggplant DSP
Accessories: 1" lacy scalloped Cucumber Crush ribbon folded in half, dimensionals., dazzling diamonds.
