The first is a colour challenge at Fab Fri 59 and the second is a sketch challenge at Try Stampin' on Tuesday
Here's the resultant card:
These are the colours from Fab Fri:
And the sketch challenge with Try Stampin' on Tuesday:
I decided to make the focal point embossed vellum flowers. And to that end I used 2 different floral stamps: " Flower Shop" and "Petite Petals" and for the leaves I used "Flower Patch".
The flowers were stamped on Vellum, embossed with white embossing powder and punched out with their respective punches: Pancy Punch and Petite Petal Punch. They were coloured on the reverse side using markers. The leaves were stamped first in Versa Mark and then in Wild Wasabi and then embossed with clear embossing powder. They were die cut using the framelits that coordinate with the Flower Patch stamp set. They were also coloured on the wrong side with markers.
In the middle of the larger flower, a 1/2" Hello Honey circle was adhered with a glue dot and then a cluster of small pearls was added. Blushing Bride circles, punched with the Owl builder punch (the eyes) was adhered in the middle of the smaller flowers followed by a small pearl.
The flowers and leaves were arranged on a 1 3/4" Whisper White circle matted with Calypso coral die cut with the Circles framelits.
The sentiment is from "Indescribable Gift"
Here are the rest of the supplies I used:
Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog
I also used white embossing and clear embossing powder.
