Butterfly Easter Create with Connie & Mary #345

Although the elements in the sketch challenge with Create with Connie & Mary could be any shape but a circle, I decided to stay with the circles.   I also decided to use the Irrestibly Yours DSP sponged in 3 different colours as the background.
CCMC345
The Irresistably Yours DSP was sponged with Wild Wasabi, Melon Mambo and Marina Mist inks in a diagonal manner.  It was matted with Whisper White cardstock and both were adhered to a Melon Mambo card base.

A 1/4" Melon Mambo cotton ribbon was adhered at an angle in the lower part of this DSP.

To make the focal image, I first started by stamping the image from Indescribably Gifts  with Stazon onto Whisper White cardstock, and punched with the 2" circle punch.  It was then  coloured with markers and an Aquapainter and the background sponged a Marina Mist.  Dazzling Details outlined the flowers and stamens.

The second circle, a piece of Daffodil Delight, was punched with a 1 3/4" circle and embossed with the Decorative Dots embossing folder.

The third circle, a piece of  Wild Wasabi was punchd  with a 1 3/8" circle and embossed with the Fancy Fan embossing folder.

They were arranged on the card as indicated by the sketch.

Rather than made a 4th smaller circle, I elected to die cut a small butterfly in Daffodil Delight, place a 7/8" scallop circle of Melon Mambo in the center of the butterfly.  In the middle of that I placed a 1/2" circle in Daffodil Delight, and finished it with a large rhinestone.

The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny wishes.

Here are the supplies I used:

I also used Melon Mambo 1/4" cotton ribbon.
