Butterfly Happy Birthday - Technostamper #348

I have a few birthdays coming up - and besides a Stampin' Up order came today and I just had to play with some of the stuff.
So, for the Technostamper challenge this week here I thought I would make a birthday card featuring the new Butterfly framelit.  I love it!  The framelit I mean.

A 4 3/4 by 3" piece of Whisper White card stock was embossed with Alphabet Press embossing folder and the surface lightly inked with Blushing Bride ink.  Across the bottom of this strip a 3/4" strip of Flowerpot DSP was attached.  A 1/8" strip of Garden Green cardstock was attached to the top of this.

A circle was die cut using the Circle framelits, Versa Mark ink applied, followed by heat and stick powder and dazzling diamonds.  Then using the new Butterfly thinlet die, a butterfly was die cut using Blushing Bride cardstock.  Placing wax paper between the cardstock and the die really helped in getting the "little pieces" out of the final product.  A little bit of tombo glue adhered the butterfly to the glittered circle.

This circle was adhered to the prepared card using dimensionals.

The sentiment was stamped in Garden Green.  It is from the Sale-a-bration stamp set "Big Day".  It was punched out using the Decorative Label punch.  To make the punchie smaller it was re-inserted into the punch.  It was matted with Garden Green cardstock.  The sentiment was also attached to the card using dimensionals.

Using a Blushing Bride marker, a small area of Dazzling diamond glitter paper was coloured, then stamped with the small heart punch.  This heart was attached to the sentiment with a glue dot.

The image panel was matted with Garden Green cardstock, and a scalloped strip was placed at the top.  The entire image panel was attached to the card front using dimensionals.  The card front, which is Blushing Bride card stock was embossed with the Large Dots embossing folder first.

I also used the new Butterfly framelits and the Sale-a-bration stamp set "Big Day" both of which will be available Jan. 6, 2015

All of the above can be ordered through my on-line store, the link to which is in the side bar of my blog.
